Group Disability Income Insurance for Dive Professionals

As the commercial says, if you get hurt and miss work…

Dive professionals face hazards every day when they dive that could keep them out of the water and away from their primary source of income. Realizing that, DAN has developed a special Disability Income Insurance program to help protect you in case of a disabling sickness or injury.

If you are unable to work due to a disabling sickness or injury, the DAN Services Disability Income Insurance Plan can provide you with monthly disability benefits of up to $4,000 per month to help you meet your day-to-day living expenses, without having to sacrifice future security.

You can choose from two different plans and two different waiting periods, depending on your budget considerations and your projected financial needs.

This coverage is available to you provided that you are an active DAN Member in a Professional Membership Class in good standing, under age 60, and actively working on a full-time basis at least 30 hours a week. Your lawful spouse, under age 60, who is actively working at least 30 hours per week, may also apply for coverage.

As a DAN ProMember or Associate Pro, you are also eligible for DAN's economical dive accident, trip, group term life, and equipment insurance plans.
